Bill Walton is a national treasure. We don’t get to hear him very often on the East Coast because he calls games for the Pac-12, and that’s a damn shame. His broadcasts are utterly fascinating. Like a roller coaster, he goes up and down, winds, spins, goes upside down and occasionally drops in a basketball reference.
As with any amusement park, he is best enjoyed when not of sound mind, preferably after several libations.
