Nearly every game, it seems, Chris Paul chooses some poor victim to abuse on the court, be it with a crossover, a steal or, in the case of Carlos Boozer, a nutmeg.
But Paul’s terrorization of Boozer didn’t stop there. No, Paul decided that Boozer hadn’t suffered enough, so he picked on him just a little bit more.
CP3 just nutmegged Boozer at half-court before dishing a dime for a 3, then knocked the ball away from him on defense just to be mean.

The Los Angeles Clippers are peaking at exactly the right time, thanks in no small part to the mastery of Paul. Over the last 10 games, Paul is averaging an absurd 25.2 points, 11.3 assists, 2.6 steals and shooting 48.1% from three. He was magnificent during Blake Griffin’s absence, and hasn’t slowed down since Griffin returned. In that same stretch, the Clippers have had the best offense in the league, scoring an incredible 114 points per 100 possessions (they’ve actually had one of the best offenses all season, constantly trading back and forth with the Warriors for the top offensive rating).
The Warriors have been the best team in the West all year. The Spurs are hitting their dangerous groove, and are always a reliable pick. The Rockets and Grizzlies also have legitimate claims to the Western conference crown. Don’t sleep on the Clippers, however. They’re almost completely healthy, their defense is much improved, and, oh yeah, they still have the point god, Chris Paul.
The Clippers manhandled the Lakers tonight, 106-78. It was such a thorough beating that Paul could afford an off night, scoring just 7 points to go along with 15 assists.
