The remarkably hip Karen O was on hand at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony to celebrate the eternally cool Lou Reed, whose snarling “Vicious” she covered with Yeah Yeah Yeahs bandmate Nick Zinner. It was the first time she’s sung the Transformer stand-out live, but that wasn’t the only thing she debuted on Saturday: We also found out she’s pregnant with what’s presumably going to be the world’s most stylish baby.
This will be her first child with director Barnaby Clay, who she married in 2011. The baby will not be at a loss for whimsical lullabies, or art-punk songs about choking. Before I make a terrible “is she pregnant? Yeah, yeah, yeah(s)” joke, watch her and Zinner cover “Vicious.”
