Get ready for some late ’90s nostalgia because I Know What You Did Last Summer and Cruel Intentions star Ryan Phillippe might appear in one of Marvel’s upcoming Netflix series.
Phillippe dropped the news on a recent episode of The Howard Stern Show. There’s currently no specific word on which show he might be on. Aside from Daredevil, which Phillippe obviously isn’t a part of, Marvel is working on A.K.A. Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist for Netflix. The most obvious conclusion would be that Phillippe is in the running to play the lead in Iron Fist, but the dude’s 40 now. A little long in the tooth to be starring in a superhero project (unless you’re Ben Affleck, I guess). Him being a villain seems more likely. Personally, I’m holding out hope for Batroc the Leaper. He does have that French last name.
