The best SNL sketches are often the ones with unexpected turns (and also “What Up With That?”). I’m thinking back to the Lena Dunham’s episode last year, when she and a few friends are singing “O-o-h Child” on a seemingly serene road trip before we see who’s in the car with them. “Picture Perfect” didn’t quite match the abrupt “twist” of that sketch, but it does have Bobby Moynihan looking uncomfortably flummoxed after being asked to draw the prophet Muhammad — obviously he looks like Kirk Van Houten’s “DIGNITY” — as well as Kenan as Reginald VelJohnson. It was funny, and about as “edgy” as SNL gets these days.
