TLC Aired ’19 Kids And Counting’ Marathon As Josh Duggar’s History Of Child Molestation Surfaced

Josh Duggar, of the inexplicably popular Duggar family, responded to reports Thursday that he molested five underage girls as a teenager. On the Duggars’ shared Facebook page (which is only the eighth worst thing about this family), Josh wrote, “Twelve years ago, as a young teenager I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends.” As this was going on, TLC didn’t comment on the situation, but the House That Boo Boo Built did go ahead with their 19 Kids and Counting marathon.

Even former TLC employee Mama June, who dated a convicted sex offender, came after the channel, telling TMZ, “I read that the Duggar family said, this happening with their son brought them closer to God and each other. So, they’re saying it’s okay to have family touch time? Hell no.”

Josh’s mother wrote on Facebook that her son’s “mistakes” caused them to “seek God like never before” and “one of the reasons we treasure our faith so much (is) because God’s kindness and goodness and forgiveness are extended to us.” His molestation brought them together, she’s saying. Funny how that kindness only extends to her family, and not transgender people.

According to Salon, Michelle once fought against a Fayetteville, Arkansas, anti-discrimination ordinance that would have protected LGBT citizens from various forms of discrimination. Michelle honed in on part of the ordinance that required businesses to allow transgender people to use the restroom that matches the sex they identify with.

“Males with past child-predator convictions [could] claim they are female to have a legal right to enter private areas that are reserved for women and girls. I doubt that Fayetteville parents would stand for a law that would endanger their daughters or allow them to be traumatized by a man joining them in their private space,” Michelle said.
