Unless you’re deaf or a film buff, then silent films probably aren’t of much interest to you. Then again, Buster Keaton’s canon is a thing to behold — especially when you realize his phenomenal action set pieces are totally reliant on practical effects, dangerous stunts, and no sound effects whatsoever. There’s only one thing that could possibly make it better — the Mad Max: Fury Road soundtrack.
Composed by Junkie XL, the score for George Miller’s amazing action film already works awesomely for the film it was intended for. But when it’s mashed up with the above chase scene from Keaton’s The General, it’s a think of beauty. You can thank Vimeo user Walter Rafelsberger for the idea and the execution.
