Over the years, the NBA has embraced the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday as an opportunity to celebrate the life of the Civil Rights pioneer. That usually means a full slate of games and various tributes to the man who devoted his life to fighting for equal rights for all Americans. With Atlanta being the birthplace of Dr. King, the Hawks premiered a moving tribute inside Philips Arena commemorating his legacy prior tip-off against the Orlando Magic Monday night.
