The Cleveland Cavaliers drafted Tyus Jones from Duke with the 24th pick in Thursday’s NBA Draft, but according to Yahoo Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski, the Cavs are trading Jones to the Minnesota Timberwolves for the 31st and 36th picks in the second round.

Fresh off a National Championship with Duke, Jones is a Minneapolis area native and would presumably come off the bench behind starting point guard Ricky Rubio. The 6-foot point guard isn’t the most athletic player in the draft, but he compensates for that with toughness and consistency.
