Matthew Dellavedova certainly didn’t make himself many friends outside of the Cleveland Cavaliers in the playoffs. His numerous hustle plays endeared him to the Cavaliers faithful, but to the rest of the world, it raised the question: was he “gritty,” or was he a dirty player?
There’s yet to be a consensus, but now we know where Draymond Green stands on the subject, given that he just retweeted the above tweet calling Dellavedova dirty. If Dellavedova hadn’t dived for Green’s knees, maybe Green wouldn’t think he was dirty. Funny how the threat of an ACL tear, or even a serious knee injury, can alter someone’s opinion.
