The Golden State Warriors won 83 total games in 2014-2015, the third-most ever. Only Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls in 1995-1996 and 1996-1997 notched more victories over the regular season and playoffs: 87 and 84, respectively.
Are the newly-minted champs an all-time great team? It will take time for the public to realize it, but the results speak for themselves – and have since last fall when their utterly dominant run to the title began.
Who cares about Steph Curry and the ‘Dubs, though? The focus should clearly be on the 2001 Los Angeles Lakers, a championship team that romped through the postseason by winning 15 of 16 games, a league record. Or at least that’s what Kobe Bryant seems to believe by just “coming across” this random photo of he and Shaquille O’Neal.
