The Bucks Used The Theme Song From ‘Barney & Friends’ To Perfectly Troll The Raptors

The Milwaukee Bucks entered Game 3 of their series against the Toronto Raptors looking to make a statement. For the first time this postseason, a game would be held in their building. With the Eastern Conference Quarterfinal matchup tied at 1-1 and the opportunity to really create some separation in the series on their home floor ahead of them, the team decided it was worth trying to get a psychological edge right away.

The Bucks, in a moment of genius that hopefully leads to someone getting a raise, trolled the Raptors in a beautiful way. During Toronto’s introduction prior to Game 3, the theme song from Barney & Friends blared over the loudspeakers of BMO Harris Bradley Center.

It’s kind of a surprise that more NBA teams don’t try to make Barney jokes with the Raptors’ psyche, right? “Hey, you guys are dinosaurs. Barney is also a dinosaur. Barney is the least intimidating thing on the planet and so are you, Toronto Raptors. Prepare to lose.”

Anyway, this must have worked to some extent – Milwaukee took a 57-30 lead into halftime. It’s probably safe to assume that Toronto is getting Barney music for the rest of the postseason if this keeps up. Prepare to hear that annoying “I love you, you love me,” song more frequently, Toronto.
