Following a terrible tragedy like this past weekend’s mass shooting at a night club in Orlando, there is a lot of fury. Everyone has an opinion, political and emotional. Rhetorical fervor abounds, and most of it seems to cause more anger and confusion than anything.
Perhaps the best thing we can say after such a massacre, one of the worst shootings in American history, is take a moment and remember those who lost their lives due to an act of senseless violence. The NBA said as much at the onset of Game 5 of the NBA Finals, with ambassador and consummate gentleman Grant Hill signaling for a moment of silence.
