In anticipation of Game 6 of the NBA Finals, Northeast Ohio is coming in hot. Elyria – roughly 30 minutes from Cleveland – is supporting their Cavaliers by taking a shot at Steph Curry, the MVP of the league, and his constitution.
Here’s what a local Dairy Queen had to say to him:

Among the other rejected disses were “Steph Curry is, himself, the Dairy Queen” and “Our most refreshingly cold new feature is Steph Curry’s shot.”
The sign stands in a long recent tradition of unconventional methods used by Ohioans to diss the Golden State Warriors. In Game 3, the Quicken Loans Arena stadium crew threw photoshopped images of Nickelback, wearing Warriors jerseys, up on the big screen to get everyone booing. And who could forget this clever LubeStop joke:

Of course, it will take much more than creative insults for the Cavs to extend the series to a historical Game 7. They’ll need LeBron James and Kyrie Irving to replicate their flame-throwing excellence of Game 5, in which the two combined for 82 points to key a stunning 112-97 road victory in Oakland. Back home, though, they’ll be facing a squad rejuvenated by a returned Draymond Green, and standing in familiar territory: on the same date last year, in a Game 6, on the same floor, the Warriors won the title. Can they do it again, or will the ice cream version of Curry simply melt under the pressure?
