Steve Kerr‘s NBA career boasts a sparkling collection of three-pointers. If only he knew the ugly ones count for just as many points as the wettest of his 726 career three-pointers.
The somewhat sidelined Golden State Warriors coach nailed a half-court shot during his team’s Cleveland shootaround today using a technique beloved by grandmothers and nervous third graders alike. Yup, the 50 year old chucked it up underhand style and got a lucky bounce into the cup. Let’s see that again, shall we?

Reminder: This is the human being who coaches the 2015 NBA MVP Steph Curry and was trusted by Michael Jordan with game-winner in the NBA Finals.
Kerr and the Warriors are in Cleveland on business, though. The defending champs will be revisiting their 2015 NBA Finals showdown against LeBron James and the Cavs, but this time Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving will also be around for 8 p.m. ET tipoff on TNT.
Golden State is still waiting for Kerr’s actual return after he was forced to step when spinal fluid leaked during back surgery this summer (spinal fluid leaks are incredibly bad for the body). Luke Walton has served as the team’s interim coach for the 2015-16 season as Kerr recuperates and Golden State’s glowing 37-4 win-loss record so far suggests things are going all right with Walton subbing in.
We’re guessing Kerr and Walton could have done without the back and forth about champagne that infested the news cycle before tonight’s game.
