Depending on how you feel about awkward comedy, our friend and Cars director Bobby Hacker is either the best or worst person in the world for finding this video today. In it, Christian/Comedy YouTuber Andrew Bishop does his finest Robert DeNiro and Sylvester Stallone impressions, as a response to the recently-released trailer for Grudge Match. That Grudge Match is a movie doesn’t matter nearly as much as the impressions, which, as Hacker pointed out, are nearly impossible to watch without covering your face with your hands. I knew that was the challenge going in, and I still made it less than three seconds. Try it yourself. This is incredible.
The impressions start at 1:09.
This… may be the best video on the internet. My whole body hurts. I can’t decide if I’m in agony or ecstasy. I admit, years of open mic comedy have turned uncontrollable laughter into my default defense mechanism for awkward situations, which may not be true for some others, but this nearly broke me. I never knew “enjoyably unwatchable” was a thing before today.
Not since Daniel Songer have I witnessed something so magical. I could watch a whole cut of just reaction videos to this video like Paranormal Activity.
