The genius(es) at The Unusual Suspect that brought us last month’s wonderful ‘Star Wars’ and ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ mashup is back with a new video that takes on the other surefire blockbuster of the summer of 2014 – ‘The Expendables 3.’ Big stars, bigger explosions and the biggest death tolls are what we’ve always come to expect from Sylvester Stallone and his ragtag group of elite mercenaries, but now we’re reminded that they’re hardly the first star-studded super group to topple an evil regime while saving all mankind. Tom Hanks was Barney Ross before Stallone would ever grunt his way through a brawl with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin in 2010, and if you doubt this theory, just check out ‘Saving Private Ryan’ set to an Eminem song, perhaps as it should have been all along.
