Daredevil will be premiering on Netflix in a few weeks and the buzz behind the new series is pretty high. The newest promotional clip hinted at a few plot points and now Scott Glenn — who plays Stick in the Marvel series — recently sat down with IGN to discuss the project and allegedly, there are A LOT of stunts:
Daredevil is probably the most stunt-heavy TV series ever shot and my character is on the high-volume side of that. The trick for me was being able to incorporate action that was really on the edge of Hong Kong Bruce Lee stuff. I was drawing on the many lessons I’ve learned during my life. …Filipino Martial Arts, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
While I’m quite the sucker for stunt-heavy martial arts entertainment, I must say Scott Glenn has thrown down the gauntlet with this bold statement. I mean, what about all those car jump sequences in the television classic Dukes Of Hazzard!?
Seriously, though, April 10th can’t come soon enough.
