Last week, a list of five names popped up as top contenders for Marvel’s new Spider-Man film. They were all young white male actors with recent credits in projects big and small. You may have noticed the top name on that list — Asa Butterfield.
Despite his appearing “a little fragile,” Butterfield’s name has come up again. Latino Review‘s Umberto Gonzalez reports on Instagram that the Ender’s Game and Hugo star is Marvel’s top choice to play a nerdy, wiry, bespectacled Peter Parker in high school.
