Whenever a major studio’s next big movie films in a public location, set videos and photos from John and Jane Q. Public are bound to make it online at some point. That’s just the nature of the beast. This has especially been the case for Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War, the first of its Phase Three movies, which is currently filming in Atlanta.
However, the two photos of star Robert Downey, Jr. above don’t come from peeping fans or insensitive paparazzi types. Oh no, no, no , no, no. They’re from the Blaxican Food Truck, a self-described “fusion food” of Mexican and Soul Food styles that sounds absolutely amazing. Seriously, I just wiped away some drool from my keyboard. (I should probably eat something for lunch.)
RDJ posed with the food truck’s owner and employees during a break from filming, and boy does it ever look like he needs a break. With all the fake cuts and blood we’ve grown accustomed to seeing on Tony Stark’s face in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I think it’s safe to say that co-star Chris Evans’s Captain America and his patriotic gang are kicking some serious Iron Man ass at the moment.
