Do you see that? Our analysis of the Suicide Squad trailer (as well practically everyone else’s on the Internet) assumed that Rick Flagg (Joel Kinnaman) was about to suck face with Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) in the shot above. While it dovetails from Quinn’s history in the comics, it made sense at the time since the trailer focused mostly on Robbie’s character. But if a recent Instagram post from co-star Cara Delevingne (Enchantress) is to be believed, it’s not Robbie after all.
Delevingne posted a collage of shots from the trailer featuring her character on Monday. The first, third and fourth are definitely her, but the second is from the image above:
If Delevingne’s logic behind the image selection is what it appears to be, then one could easily assume that the impending make out session is in fact between her character and Kinnaman’s. The history of these two characters “being” with one another is just as flaky as the former scenario, but since both are periphery to Quinn in the film, then it will probably piss off the diehards just a little less.
Then again, they’ll probably find something else to be mad about anyways.
