At this point, you’ve definitely watched the Captain America: Civil War trailer combing through every second of footage looking for clues. While we still aren’t entirely sure what’s in store for our divided Avengers, Marvel fans love speculating. YouTuber Mr. Sunday Movies is at it again, this time providing an deep dive into the first look.
It’s all just guesswork at this point, but Mr. Sunday Movies points out some worthwhile Easter eggs, including the blink-and-you’ll-miss-it appearances of Sharon Carter, Crossbones, and Martin Freeman’s mystery character (thought to be comic book character Henry Gyrich) and what could possibly be the event that draws T’Challa, the Black Panther, out of Wakanda and into the fray.
No Ant Man or Spider-Man sightings yet, but they can’t show all of their cards at once. If Disney takes the same route with their Marvel properties as they’re doing with Star Wars: The Force Awakens, we’ll be getting an onslaught of new footage the closer we get to the release date. Still, that wait until May 6th is going to be a long one.
