When we learned Martin Freeman will be in Captain America: Civil War, my first thought was that he’d be good casting for Everett K. Ross, a U.S. government expert on Wakanda who figures into several Black Panther comic storylines. Since Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) is in the movie, it would make sense to have Ross show up at some point, particularly if — as Screenrant speculates — he’ll start out as comic relief and turn villain in the standalone Black Panther movie.
And now, according to El Mayimbe of Latino Review, it is likely Everett K. Ross whom Freeman will play. He says Freeman is playing “an interrogator”, and he adds that the speculation is that the interrogator character is Everett K. Ross. We suspect this version of the character won’t lose his pants in a strip club, but you never know.
