“We’re bad guys. It’s what we do.”
Last summer, the first Suicide Squad trailer landed at San Diego Comic-Con a full 13 months before the film’s August 5 release date. The promotion has steadily continued with a recent smattering of stylized character posters featuring the “Worst. Heroes. Ever.” These offerings arrived to tease the second trailer, and now we’re seeing the supervillain gang together again. The new, full-length trailer arrived at the last possible moment of the Dawn of the Justice League special. It’s finally here!
This trailer arrives with the perfect musical accompaniment in Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody.” We’ve got a band of rowdy rapscallions, who may not be fully on board with their mission, but they’re sure gonna enjoy the mayhem at hand. They’re unredeemable and unrepentant and gloriously so. Noble superheroes? We’ve had our exhaustive share. These guys (and gals) are hilarious, violent, pessimistic as all hell, and they’re exactly what audiences need right now.
Look at The Joker with his toys! Let’s do this.
Warner Bros. also teased the Twitter crowd with this spiffy new logo. The marketing of this movie is stellar compared to what Warner Bros. is doing with Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice, which lacks personality and charisma. Perhaps that’s the point? Bad guys have more fun.

Warner Bros. also dropped this new poster featuring the whole Squad lineup.
