Doctor Strange doesn’t seem to be the most sociable character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Cameos are commonplace in Marvel movies, but the magical Benedict Cumberbatch character hasn’t shown up in any after-credits scenes or any of the other usual Easter eggs, and we haven’t heard any news about him possibly teaming up with any fellow heroes in the future.
Well, based on a hint dropped by the Thor: Ragnarok crew, it looks like a team-up may be in Doctor Strange’s future after all. According to HitFix, Daley Pearson, an Australian writer and buddy to Chris Hemsworth, posted a few pics from the set of the Thor: Ragnarok.

The crucial picture is the one with Thor holding a card. It’s hard to make out, but if you zoom in on that second picture, “177A Bleecker” appears to be written on it. This just so happens to be Doctor Strange’s address in the comics.
Obviously more Cumberbatch is always a good thing, but this cameo is also significant because Doctor Strange, Thor and Hulk are frequent core members of The Defenders. Of course, the Defenders name is being used for Marvel’s Netflix team-up show, but still, it’ll be fun to see these old friends on screen together.
Thor: Ragnarok hits theaters November 3, 2017.
