A collaboration between DJ Khaled and Palmer’s, the manufacturers of his cocoa butter lotion of choice, seemed like it was destined the first time he gave cocoa butter a major key distinction and told his Snap followers how important a role it played in “living life smooth.” But perhaps Palmer’s really had the light bulb go off when Khaled told Jimmy Kimmel how important it was to “cocoa butter everything” on late night TV. Whatever the case, it’s happening now as the two parties have teamed up for a limited-edition capsule collection between the best pitchman in rap and the best cocoa in the game.
The special edition bottles will come three different bottles emblazoned with Khaled’s famous catchphrases – We The Best Glow, Live Life Smooth and They Block — and his trademark gold key and signature. “I only work with brands that represent my lifestyle and Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula is a product I’ve been using for 15 years,” Khaled said via press release. “The DJ Khaled x Palmer’s capsule collection is a passion project of mine because my fans can now have a piece of my ‘glow’ thanks to Palmer’s and our collaboration.”
The limited edition bottles are set to go on sale officially on Tuesday, December 13 via WeTheBest.com but it looks like they can be added to a shopping cart on the Palmer’s site right now, just in case anyone’s worried about the bottles selling out before they get a chance to cop. I’ve used Palmer’s daily for years now but I think I’ll grab a bottle just so I can yell out “Major keeeeyyy alert!” to my wife each morning while I’m putting it on.
