Days after releasing their highly anticipated Culture 2 album, Migos are releasing some visuals. They let us fans marinate with the album over Grammy weekend, now they’re serving up some “Stir Fry.” The song was the second single from Culture 2 after “Motorsport,” so it’s only right that it’s the second video from Culture 2. True to the theme of the song title and chorus, the “Stir Fry” video is themed as a martial arts flick, showing off Migos’ acting chops. Maybe this is a bit of practice for their upcoming biopic.
The energetic, Pharell-produced track features the Neptunes legend in the video, sitting at the poker table with the boys. The Atlanta trio then gets the word that it’s time to fight, and spring into action. After watching their previous foes suffer at the hands of their apparent enemy, Quavo cheekily delivers a threat before they start kicking ass.
The 6-minute film is padded a bit by credits which show Migos having fun while filming the video. Quavo showed us some clips from the video earlier this month, and now we get to see the finished product. Who knows what the next video from Culture 2 will be, With 24 tracks and features from Drake, Gucci Mane, Big Sean, 21 Savage, and more, they have no shortage of choices.
