LOS ANGELES – Cate Blanchett has had a few complex roles thrown her way, but from the way she sounded at the Golden Globes backstage, her turn at the titular character in “Blue Jasmine” was among the more challenging.
After collecting her award for Best Actress at the ceremony, the Aussie called Jasmine a “mind-f*ck,” allowing that director Woody Allen helped lead her in all the right directions.
