Burning Man’s Black Rock City is truly a place like no other. Aside from the wild outfits, mutant vehicles, and surrealist art exhibits, one of the coolest things about the playa is that it’s a place where everyone is on an equal level. Whether you’re a hardcore lifelong burner, or a celebrity checking out the scene, when you’re in Black Rock City, it doesn’t really matter who you are, it’s just all about your personal journey. (Theoretically, at least — the stratification of “the burn” is much debated.)

“Jet and RV privilege” aside, Burning Man is one of the unique experiential festivals where you can rub shoulders with your favorite celebrities and influencers without anyone really making a big deal of it. There’s no VIP. Moreover, celebrities love Burning Man — they can’t get enough of it.
