It’s hard not to get emotional when Skid Robot is on the street, doing his thing. He elevates awareness around homelessness by creating street art that calls attention to things people otherwise ignore. He spray paints living rooms next to people sleeping on pavement and thought bubbles above people dreaming of a better life. He’s giving a voice to people who exist on society’s margins.
Robot’s message resonated with us, so we sent a crew with him to document one of his installations — in which he created an oasis on the sidewalk.
