If you’ve ever wanted the opportunity to walk around Prince’s famed estate Paisley Park all day long and talk about the musician’s life, now could be your chance. You may remember that the massive home and studio Paisley Park is set to turn into the new Graceland (and in fact will be run by the same parent company), and now the time has come to actually prepare for the complex to open to the public. According to MPR News, the managerial staff at the late singer’s home is putting out the call for tour guides that have the enthusiasm and knowledge required to relay all of Prince’s accomplishments to visitors.
While there are no current specifics as to the number of job openings available, auditions are being held in Chanhassen, Minnesota (where Paisley Park is located) this coming Thursday and Friday. For those major Prince fans who are outside of driving range of that area of the state, it’s probably time to start looking for cheap plane tickets and a place to stay near the estate. After all, how many opportunities are there to roam around The Purple One’s abode, discuss his legacy, and get paid for it? For anyone that might not be cut out for the tour guide lifestyle, there are also positions in marketing, merchandise, and security that need to be filled.
