TMZ caught up with Michelle Beadle during the Nike 3 on 3 Celebrity Basketball Tournament in Los Angeles and she couldn’t wait to talk about her favorite nemesis Floyd Mayweather, particularly his ongoing “feud” with Ronda Rousey. Beadle is no stranger to tangling with Mayweather over his past domestic abuse troubles and his actions in and out of the ring that have garnered him a “difficult” reputation.
When it comes to Rousey, Beadle says that it is fairly clear why Mayweather reacts like he did on ESPN:
“He doesn’t like to be challenged when it comes to matters outside the ring … y’know, beating women up … so he has to sort of kill that and go with the money stuff.”
Don’t expect to see Beadle covering any Mayweather fights in the near future, I guess. Not that she’d go anyway, but I’d expect his side of the camp would think twice before allegedly pulling her from a list allowed to cover a fight.
Will we ever seen Floyd step in the ring with Ronda Rousey? Of course not, but that doesn’t mean it can’t happen Rocky V style. And by that I mean it’ll be disappointing.
