By now, we’ve all come to believe that Robert Downey Jr. is actually Tony Stark. He’s simply waiting on someone to develop a real Iron Man suit before he can take the next step in his career as the world’s coolest guy. While Shailene Woodley was honored for being this year’s Trail Blazer earlier in the MTV movie Awards broadcast, RDJ was the main attraction for those of us who aren’t real enough to handle Woodley’s bone broth recipe. That’s why his Avengers: Age of Ultron co-stars were more than happy to assemble and honor him with the 2015 Generation Award.
It probably also helped that the movie comes out in three weeks, and there might be four people on this planet who aren’t aware of that, so any marketing is good marketing. But don’t let that take anything away from this wonderful opportunity to sit back and watch RDJ do his always-wonderful RDJ thing.
