Is everyone over talking about Avengers: Age Of Ultron‘s upcoming theatrical release? How about we talk about new rumors that have surfaced regarding the film’s pending home release instead? ScreenCrush shared the below screen grab taken from Amazon UK which is advertising an extended cut of the film and an alternate ending when pre-ordering the film on DVD or Blu-ray:
With so many characters and moving parts, it definitely makes sense to release an extended cut for the film. Hell, it may be the closest thing we get to Joss Whedon‘s original 3-hour version. However, the concept of an alternate ending is a little odd and it really can’t be too different from the ending presented in the theatrical cut since continuity is key in the MCU. I guess we’ll have to wait some time before light can be shed on this intriguing detail.
Until then, Avengers: Age Of Ultron will hit theaters this Friday, May 1st.
