We recently learned the directors of Captain America: Civil War and Captain America: The Winter Soldier (Joe and Anthony Russo) will direct both parts of Avengers Infinity War in place of Joss Whedon (something that had been rumored for awhile). This next news, then, wasn’t a surprise.
Badass Digest reports the Russo brothers will again reteam with the writers of Captain America: Civil War and Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, to make parts one and two of Avengers: Infinity War. Markus and McFeely also wrote Captain America: The First Avenger and parts of Thor: The Dark World in addition to creating Agent Carter for ABC.
Having Markus and McFeely involved will definitely help keep everything cohesive as these Marvel Cinematic Universe movies and spin-off shows keep piling up. And, hey, maybe they’ll repeat their trend from Captain America: The Winter Soldier of giving us awesome Black Widow scenes, because we’re worth it.
