As you probably know, the Entourage movie opened this week, allowing us the chance to follow the adventures of Vinnie Chase, Johnny Drama, Eric Murphy and Turtle at least one more time. This truly is the golden age of cinema. Also returning from the television series is the Entourage Theme Song (which not many people call “Superhero” by Jane’s Addiction), which, once again, gets to play during an extended opening credit sequence. Today, we are lucky enough to interview the Entourage Theme Song. (And you’re welcome, nobody.)
Thanks for joining us, Entourage Theme Song. Are you excited about the release of the Entourage movie?
Oh yeaaahhh.
That’s great to hear. Did you always know that you’d be back for the movie?
Oh yeaaahhh.
That must have been comforting?
Oh yeaaahhh.
Were you ever worried they might replace you in an attempt to update the story somehow?
Oh yeaaahhh.
But then they called you and said, “Hey, Entourage Theme Song, please be in the movie, there’s no way we would ever think about updating the story or showing any kind of growth in these characters”?
Oh yeaaahhh.
Is Jerry Ferrara nice?
Oh yeaaahhh.
Are you aware of the criticism of the movie’s misogyny?
Oh yeaaahhh.
Does that bother you?
Oh yeaaahhh.
Are you the only one associated with this movie who feels that way?
Oh yeaaahhh.
Can I take you off repeat?
Oh yeaaahhh.
Can I turn down your volume a little?
Oh yeaaahhh.
I’m going to turn down your bass a little, too…
Oh yeaaahhh.
So, is there any chance that Entourage really is a statement, not just on Hollywood, but about our society in general?
Oh yeaaahhh.
That deep down in all of us, there’s a Vinnie Chase, and that resisting that temptation is what makes us all human?
Oh yeaaahhh.
But I’m probably wrong, right?
Oh yeaaahhh.
It’s just about four guys who always win, isn’t it?
Oh yeaaahhh.
Do you know the Kool-Aid Man?
Oh yeaaahhh.
Are you looking forward to Terminator Genisys?
Oh yeaaahhh.
Do you think it’s going to be great?
Oh yeaaahhh.
Did you ever see Winter’s Tale?
Oh yeaaahhh.
Were you worried about the Patriot Act being renewed?
Oh yeaaahhh.
Are you friends with Silicon Valley Theme Song?
Oh yeaaahhh.
Will you be stuck in my head for the rest of my life?
Oh yeaaahhh.
Well, that’s all I have today. I really enjoyed our time together. It was really nice meeting you, Entourage Theme Song.
You, too.
