As soon as you thought it was safe to spend time around small children… Frozen is about to come back in a big way. The highest grossing animated film of all time isn’t about to go quietly into that icy night without a couple of spinoffs and more of an opportunity to get the greatest of all ear worms stuck in your head one more time. That’s right, Disney isn’t letting it go any time soon and in fact is planning to get a Frozen musical on a Broadway stage by Spring of 2018.
FROZEN is slated for Broadway spring 2018 following a pre‐Broadway engagement summer 2017 https://t.co/fMTWzu5XAi

That’s right! Your kids will be asking for super expensive theater tickets for Christmas in less than two years. The good thing about theater is that small children will have a show that they can get exited about at a young age, thereby being exposed to culture and the arts much earlier in their lives than they may have otherwise been. The bad news is that grabbing a few quick tickets to a Broadway show is definitely not as easy as it sounds. We bet you’re wishing you had saved money during the original film’s release instead of buying so many Olaf stuffed animals and accessories.
No word yet on whether Idina Menzel will reprise her role as Elsa so she can belt her heart out live, but it is sure to be a long-running hit that puts millions more dollars in the bank for Disney. And all you’ll get is “Let It Go” stuck in your head until the end of time.
