In his new book Poking a Dead Frog: Conversations with Today’s Top Comedy Writers, Mike Sacks, who previously got Paul Fieg to share his Freaks and Geeks character bible, asked Bill Hader to name some movies that every Bieber-hating comedy writer should see. Good guy that he is, Hader came back with 200 of ’em, ranging from the 1920s (The Cocoanuts) to 2010 (Toy Story 3 and Four Lions).
For some reason, he didn’t include Superbad, so his list is in no way definitive.
