Mad Max: Fury Road hits theaters this Friday, and, much like most fans of the franchise, I’ve been brushing up on George Miller’s original trilogy. Of the previous installments, The Road Warrior still stands out as a personal favorite.
The folks at the YouTube channel 190 Proof Entertainment reformated the original trailer for the 1981 Mad Max sequel with the structure of the first trailer for Mad Max: Fury Road as a reference point. While the older film isn’t as cuttingly beautiful with its high definition violence, this recut trailer highlights some of the movie’s great scenes.
