In today’s edition of “Celebrities are Just Like Us,” we present Jared Leto, the Oscar-winning actor and occasional rock star who recently moved to L.A.’s Laurel Canyon.
That last bit of information is important because it turns out Jared, who will soon be seen on the big screen playing the Joker in next year’s Suicide Squad, angered his new neighbors last month when he threw a bit of a rager on Halloween. To be more specific, TMZ says Leto’s guests “wreaked havoc” on the neighborhood, pissing off the neighbors something fierce. One even called him “a dick!” The horror.

But maybe Leto is more than just your garden-variety Hollywood narcissist. Turns out he wanted to make amends with the neighbors and did so by picking up a batch of pumpkin pies from the local Whole Foods and doling them out to the denizens of the ‘hood. He even signed each box with a loving, ever-so-personal, “From: Your neighbor, Jared Leto.”
What a guy. Remember this man’s good heart the next time your neighbors have to call the cops on you at 2 in the morning because one of your buddies just puked in their pool.
