In case you were wondering, Jerry Lewis is still around and he’s full of opinions. In an hour long interview with Raymond Arroyo on EWTN’s World Over, Lewis talked a bit about his long career, his charity work and plenty of other topics related to himself. Then the topic switched over to the problem with refugees according to Mediaite:
“No one has worked harder for the human condition than I have, but they’re not part of the human condition,” Lewis continued. “If 11 guys in the group of 10,000 are ISIS, how can I take the chance? I don’t want to lose another Frenchman or another Englishman. That bothers me.”
It just comes into play around the 48 minute mark, like there was a person out there just itching to know what Jerry Lewis thought about the Syrian crisis and ISIS — his name possibly being Raymond Arroyo. And since we were wading into political territory, you know the topic of President Obama would come up. What you didn’t know is that Jerry Lewis is a supporter of Donald J. Trump:
“He was never prepared for it, and what I’m watching in him is uncertainty.” Lewis said. “And you can’t have uncertainty in a leader.”
Lewis also complimented Donald Trump, telling Arroyo he thinks the Republican frontrunner is “great.”
“He’s a showman and we’ve never had a showman in the president’s chair,”
I disagree. Richard Nixon was a fine showman and his recordings prove it. Guy knew how to play America like a fiddle, but he picked the wrong folks to work with. Also you should’ve heard his version of The Aristocrats.
