During his final week filming Pirates of the Caribbean 5, Johnny Depp stopped by The Australian Bat Clinic & Wildlife Trauma Center to look in on an 10-week-old bat he sponsored. It’s name, appropriately enough, is “Jackie Sparrow.”
In the video above, we see Depp in full Captain Jack mode as he stopped by the clinic directly from a busy day shooting on set. A representative from the clinic was understandably ecstatic the star was taking an interest in the services they provide, saying, “It’s so fantastic to see him showing a genuine interest, and helping us raise awareness for bats!”
