If you like to judge movies by their titles, then you’re probably going to assume that Office Christmas Party is yet another raunchy comedy about what happens when frustrated working class adults cut loose and stick it to The Man. Based on the first official trailer for this comedy, you’re probably technically right. Except given that Office Christmas Party stars a lot of people we genuinely enjoy and the trailer actually elicits some strong laughs, you might want to put your cynicism on hold and give this one a shot when it hits theaters on December 9.
Office Christmas Party reunites Horrible Bosses co-stars Jason Bateman and Jennifer Aniston (but to be honest, it feels like they’re in everything together, which isn’t a bad thing), while adding T.J. Miller, Rob Corddry, Randall Park, the red hot Kate McKinnon, Olivia Munn, Jamie Chung, Matt Walsh, Jillian Bell, and the always wonderful Vanessa Bayer. And probably even more people we love doing ridiculous things like peeing in public, vomiting on a desk or person, and maybe even accidentally trying narcotics. Will there also be a dog that covers its eyes? Probably not, because that would have been in the trailer with a record scratch.
