Aubrey Plaza stars as love interest (if you can call it that) to Robert De Niro in Dirty Grandpa. You’d think that might be a nerve-wracking experience for a young comedic actress working with a seminal actor of De Niro’s caliber — especially when steamy sex scenes are involved, as they are in this case. But being that this is Aubrey Plaza we’re talking about, of course she was undaunted by the on screen May-to-December romance, telling Jimmy Kimmel Tuesday night: “Robert De Niro’s character lies and says that he’s a professor, and my character has kind of this, like, obsession with having sex with a professor, so I kind of zero in on him, and I’m like, ‘I’m gonna… f*ck you!’ and he’s like, ‘I’m gonna f*ck you, too!’ And then we do!”
Sounds like some serious Nicholas Sparks-style romance going on here. As far as the sex scene itself, Plaza says that it was a grueling, 9 to 10-hour shoot over the course of a day in which “a lot of interesting stuff went down.” Not the least of which was the fact that Plaza learned that Robert De Niro doesn’t care for his “nipple area being paid attention to.” (Of course, she learned it the hard way.)
Well, I’m sold. Dirty Grandpa is out in theaters this Friday.
