If you were anywhere near the Internet (or watching football) on Monday evening, you certainly noticed the moment when the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer dropped. The response on Twitter led to an immediate burst of excitement, which will surely last for days (and even months). Audiences were thrilled to see some favorite characters return, and we caught more intrigue from the key rookie cast members, Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Finn (John Boyega).
A frenzy ensued, and opening night tickets flew fast with pricey grabbings already hitting eBay. If you’re not a Star Wars fan, you weren’t able to avoid the madness. If you are a fan, you were lucky to secure a spot in line. Social media may never recover from the confetti onslaught, and there’s simply no way to keep the crowd down at this point. Let’s embrace the madness and recap some of the funniest, most exaggerated Star Wars reactions on Twitter.
As to be expected, not all of these are authentic reactions. Many people poked fun at their own fandom, but it’s the retweets that count, right? And may the force be with you.

I saw a lot of downed aircraft in the Star Wars trailer, I guess they let Harrison Ford do a lot of his own stunts
