It’s only eight more days until Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters, but Disney has been keeping the spoilers well under wraps. The trailers and TV spots so far have focused on establishing the tone (classic Star Wars, not prequel Star Wars) without giving too much away.
This most recent international trailer, however, plays more like a highlight reel. As with the Japanese trailer, the international trailers seem to be offering more, this time in a trailer for the Chinese market. Much of it is footage we’ve seen, but something about how it’s cut together feels like we’re seeing far more than we were supposed to. From watching Han Solo pilot the Millennium Falcon to seeing more of Kylo Ren to those scenes at the end we won’t describe in case you’re avoiding potential spoilers, this is a trailer you may want to skip if you’re trying to go into the theater completely fresh. I’m not. I’ll watch every bit of footage I can find and whoop and holler like this guy when I see it:
