Two of the most inescapable Top 40 staples of the 2010s combined forces on Saturday night in Tampa when Taylor Swift and “Let It Go” merged into one glorious beam of unshakable light. A snowman costume was also involved because why not?
Taylor’s stadium-gobbling behemoth of a world tour wrapped up its final North American date on Saturday with an engagement at Raymond James Stadium. As is customary at these gargantuan celebrations of The Mighty Swift, a special guest was in the mix as Idina Menzel popped out to join in the revelry. As a combo they performed the monster smash “Let It Go” from Disney’s Frozen (sorry, Tampa fans demanding “Defying Gravity”) complete with Taylor dressed up like Olaf and Idina as Elsa.
Taylor, who would do a dramatic DESNOWMANNING mid-song, gushed over the experience on Instagram.

Idina Menzel also seemed pretty happy with how the evening’s encounter panned out.
Thank you @taylorswift13! That was definitely an out of body experience. Or out of Elsa's body! #1989TourTampa pic.twitter.com/oGPl9l6jp6

The 1989 World Tour is now prepping for a handful of dates in Singapore and China that will start later this week. After that, there’s a bit of a hiatus followed by a big tour finale run that pulls her Swiftiness through Australia with stops in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne. We’ll be inconsolable if Natalie Imbruglia isn’t a special guest on one of those Aussie tour dates.
