While Furious 7 is set to destroy box office records on Earth and possibly several other planets this weekend, Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 won’t be opening for another two weeks. Kevin James isn’t going to have much competition in theaters that weekend, as the only other movie being advertised is the horror gimmick film Unfriended, which somehow has four “fresh” reviews already. Still, Sony Pictures and James want to remind us that Blart (rhymes with fart = comedy) is back, so they’re hopping on the Furious 7 hype train with the above mall parking lot featurette.
While it doesn’t showcase the comedy artistry of a fat guy fighting a bird, this clip does have Blart riding his trademark Segway, and yes… he crashes into something. I’ll tell ya, that’s a joke that never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever gets old.
