You can check out the YouTube version of this Ant-Man trailer over here, but even the title of the video is a spoiler. So warning on all fronts with this one, even though it is the tiniest little spoiler for the film.
In this foreign TV promo for Ant-Man, we get our first glimpse of a certain Avenger that will be making an appearance in the film. Obviously it’s just a glimpse of the character, but it is enough to assume he’s appearing in some capacity (most likely in a post-credits sort of role that connects this film to Captain America: Civil War).
Spoilers definite from here on, obviously:
Sam Wilson as the newest Avenger, Falcon, gets the smallest of cameos in this trailer. I would doubt that he’s appearing in the actual story for the film, but it’s easy to assume that he’s going to be playing some role in getting Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang involved in the team or involved in signing up for whatever is about to take place in Civil War.
Nothing is definite, but it is a sign that the character is there. Could it be a hint at other characters? Namely a good friend who carries a shield? Sure. But it could also just be a cheap trick. Just have to wait for a few weeks to see for sure.
