Dave Grohl and Slipknot, together at last. Or at least the heavy metal band’s vocalist, Corey Taylor, who joins Grohl, Scott Reeder from Kyuss, and Cheap Trick’s Rick Nielsen on “From Can to Can’t,” a single from the Sound City – Real to Reel soundtrack that puts all other soundtracks to shame. Related: Grohl was on Marc Maron’s WTF podcast this week, and it’s definitely worth listening to.

“Screwdriver” by Prince
A mysterious Twitter account has been leaking Prince songs the past couple of weeks, beginning with the previously unreleased “Same Different Page” and, most recently, another until-now unheard song, “Screwdriver,” an exhilteratng, fuzzed-out jam. Whoever’s running the account, please don’t stop.
Oh boy. Here’s reason #492 to not like Glee:
Fox teen musical show Glee will resume their fourth season on Thursday (1/24) and if you somehow end up watching, you’ll notice that they’ll be singing a cover of Sir Mix-a-Lot’s “Baby Got Back.” However, NYC geek rock fave Jonathan Coulton just tweeted that they ripped of his cover of the song without contacting him.
